Mission of Hope: Delivering Help Today and Hope for Tomorrow
Mission of Hope is devoted to providing meaningful assistance in times of need and fostering lasting hope for the future. Through their comprehensive, year-round programs, they offer essential resources such as food, clothing, and school supplies. Their efforts extend beyond immediate relief, opening doors to higher education through scholarships, supporting safe housing initiatives, and empowering individuals through workforce development programs. These initiatives lay the groundwork for long-term success in communities facing economic hardship.
Axle Impact Day with Summer Interns
As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, our summer interns participated in an Axle Impact Day at Mission of Hope. Together, they helped pack over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies and assembled two pallets of hygiene bags, each containing necessities that are often overlooked but critically important.
“Being hands-on with Mission of Hope truly brought their mission to life,” shared intern Audrey Thomason. “It’s one thing to read about helping others, and another to actually be part of that positive change.”
“Our time with Mission of Hope was both encouraging and inspiring,” added intern Tregan Holterman. “While we packed school supplies and hygiene products, it went so much deeper. David Heatherly, Executive Director of Mission of Hope, shared powerful stories of how similar efforts have created lasting impacts in our communities. Serving with such an impactful organization was incredibly rewarding and eye-opening.”
This experience was more than a day of service—it was a meaningful connection to a cause. Our interns left with a deeper appreciation for community involvement and the knowledge that their efforts directly brightened the lives of many.
