Strong teams are built through accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improvement. Team Lead Cody Beeks and Logistics Consultants John York, Stefan Brucato, Jacob Isley, and Will Hecker represent a group that approaches each day with discipline and a people-first mindset.
By focusing on clear communication, structured habits, and mutual support, the team continues to strengthen both performance and culture within their pod.
For this team, consistency starts with intentional routines that create structure early in the day. John York explains that each team member completes ten sales activities by 10 a.m., setting the tone for productivity and accountability across the group.
“Our team has several daily tasks that have developed into consistent routines that anchor our day-to-day,” John shared. “Each team member completes 10 sales activities by 10 a.m., and once finished, we answer a question of the day that gets sent out to the group.”
These routines help establish momentum early and keep everyone connected as the day begins.

Operating in a constantly shifting market requires adaptability and trust in the process. Cody Beeks shared that the team has recently worked through a challenging environment with heavy contract freight that can be difficult to manage.
Despite the volatility, the team remains focused on a service-forward approach. By focusing on controllable factors and trusting the process, they continue to move forward together and maintain a disciplined approach to their daily operations.
Communication plays a key role in how the team stays aligned throughout the day. Will Hecker explained that the group relies heavily on Microsoft Teams to stay connected on everything moving across the pod.
“We place a high importance on using Microsoft Teams to stay united and aligned on all things moving throughout the day,” Will said. “It allows us to adjust our strategy as needed and helps foster a team chemistry built on collaboration.”
This constant communication allows the team to solve challenges quickly while ensuring every task is handled with an emphasis on delivering the highest level of customer service.
When asked to describe the team in three words, Stefan Brucato summed it up clearly: “Selfless, intentional, and united.”
That mindset carries into how the group approaches both challenges and successes. Cody Beeks describes the team as people-centered, believing that strong morale and energy come from meaningful work and mutual support.
By celebrating small wins and stepping in to help one another whenever possible, the team maintains a positive and focused atmosphere throughout the week.
Recognizing progress is an important part of the team’s rhythm. Jacob Isley shared that the group celebrates accomplishments through quarterly team dinners that allow everyone to reflect on their growth together.
Outside of the office, team members also make an effort to stay connected by meeting up after work when schedules allow. These moments help strengthen relationships and contribute to stronger collaboration in the office.
Working closely together has helped each member continue developing both personally and professionally. Will Hecker explained that the team places strong emphasis on accountability and shared responsibility, recognizing that when one person struggles, the entire team feels the impact.
When asked what motivates them to give their best each day, every member shared the same answer: their team.
Under the leadership of Cody Beeks, this group reflects Axle’s culture through collaboration, growth, and a commitment to continuous improvement. By focusing on service, accountability, and supporting one another, they continue to build momentum and strengthen their impact at Axle Logistics.
