The saying goes, if you have it, it most likely has been on a truck. That has never been truer than it is today. The nation’s livelihood, now more than ever, is provided by the hard-working men and women of the transportation industry. As other front-line workers did, truck drivers persevered as the COVID-19 pandemic set in and they never looked back. Shifting gears in some cases on a moment’s notice, carriers throughout the country, dedicated their time and focus to getting essential goods and medical supplies to stores and hospitals. Hurricane Sally takes landfall on the Gulf while wildfires spread along the west coast; the trucking industry once again assists with disaster relief and aid to its fellow Americans.
This makes Truck Driver Appreciation week even more special this year. As Axle celebrates this week by thanking its 36,000+ carrier partners for their continuous hard work and dedication, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight two partners that went above and beyond during these critical times:
Spotlight 1: Trans-States Express, Inc.
“Trans States is one of the most dependable teams we get to work with. They’re the first to tell us if there’s an issue and they’re always willing to work with us on new projects.” – Axle Logistics General Manager
Spotlight 2: Jobee Express LLC
“Jobee Express has been an outstanding carrier partner over the last 3 years. Not only do they outperform in on time pickup and delivery, they also provide very timely updates and are always professional. There is not a negative word that could be said about Jobee Express.” – Axle Logistics Capacity Sourcing Analyst
Axle Logistics is grateful to the thousands of carriers who choose to partner with us each day. It is a privilege to work together to help those in need especially during one of the most unique times in our history. The determination we see from our carrier partners continues to push Axle forward. We simply could not continue to grow and support our clients without them. Axle appreciates each driver not only during Truck Driver Appreciate Week, but every week throughout the year.
We thank you.
