Team Success Story: Jackson Kramer’s Team

March 5, 2026

At Axle Logistics, consistency stems from intentional habits, clear communication, and a shared commitment to performance. Team Lead Jackson Kramer and Logistics Consultants David Arnett, Craig Abrahamsen, Jonathan Weatherspoon, and Arturo Zapoticla exemplify steady execution and strong team accountability.

Building Consistency Through Structure

For this team, consistency begins with daily visibility into sales performance. As David Arnett explains, “Our team stays consistent by checking in daily on sales performance and being competitive with each other in terms of numbers.” Those regular check-ins create transparency, reinforce accountability, and maintain high performance standards.

In addition to daily discipline, weekly meetings provide an opportunity to evaluate current market conditions and address challenges proactively. By pairing day-to-day focus with structured strategy conversations, the team remains aligned and adaptable in a constantly shifting freight environment.

Responding to Challenges as One Team

When a recent snowstorm disrupted the carrier network and impacted margins, the team worked collectively to maintain service levels. David shared that the disruption “greatly affected our margins,” but emphasized that everyone stepped in to support one another’s freight and communicate proactively with customers.

Each member approached the situation with shared ownership, ensuring that freight was covered and customers stayed informed. Their willingness to assist each other around the clock strengthened both internal trust and external relationships.

The Role of Clear Communication

Clear communication is a consistent theme in how this team operates. Jonathan Weatherspoon explains, “Clear communication plays a role in our team’s success by helping us all understand what we need to accomplish each day.”

Beyond internal alignment, that clarity extends to customers as well. By prioritizing detailed and accurate information, the team delivers reliable service and builds stronger partnerships. In logistics, precision matters, and this group consistently demonstrates it.

Team Dynamic and Culture

imWhen asked to describe their dynamic, Jonathan summed it up in three words: “Make It Happen.” The phrase reflects a solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to take initiative, regardless of the challenge.

Arturo Zapoticla highlights the importance of morale, noting that the team maintains high energy through humor and friendly competition. That balance of intensity and camaraderie creates an environment where individuals feel supported while still being challenged to improve.

Celebrating wins, both large and small, is also part of their rhythm. Jackson Kramer shared that the team enjoys spending time together outside of work, whether that means grabbing a drink at Yee-Haw Brewing Co. or Schulz Bräu Brewing Company, ordering food after a productive week, or attending a Tennessee football game. These shared experiences strengthen relationships and carry over into stronger collaboration in the office.

 Growth Through Shared Experience

Each team member brings a different background and perspective to the table. Craig Abrahamsen explains that leaning into those differences has helped him become “more well-rounded in the LC position.” By recognizing and utilizing one another’s strengths, the team continues to develop both individually and collectively.

What Motivates Them

For this group, motivation is both personal and professional. Craig shared, “I show up for my family, my customers, and my team.” That sense of responsibility drives their daily effort. They take pride in solving problems, supporting customers, and ensuring operations run smoothly.

Under the leadership of Jackson Kramer, this team reflects Axle’s culture through accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Through disciplined habits, strong communication, and shared ownership, they continue to deliver consistent results while supporting one another.
